Our goal is to offer children and adults with intellectual disabilities year-round sports instruction and athletic competition in a range of Olympic-type sports, giving them ongoing opportunities to improve their physical fitness, show bravery, feel joy, and engage in the sharing of gifts, skills, and friendship with their families, other Special Olympics athletes, and the community.
Special Olympics New Jersey will build inclusive communities for persons with and without intellectual disabilities via innovative sport, health, wellness and leadership opportunities for Special Olympics athletes, their families and society as a whole.
